Yesterday we made this carrot cake cake from the BBC Good Food Website.
It went down a treat! Although I can’t say much for the look of the mix!
Changes:
It took probably ten minutes more than suggested, but that could just be my oven. Also, we forgot to put the almonds in the mix so we put them (ground) into the icing, which was nice!
Oh, and I’d say there is far too much icing just for the top as it is extremely sweet, so either make less or spread it on the sides like we did.
